Literally hundreds of colour plates (and a few in b&w) but also 3 maps of the Far East. 408pp. Sumptuous publication, not so much a book on travel writing as a visual record of these experienced travellers journeys over the last 70 years, as it begins with a trip by Roland to Lapland in 1950. But it wasn't long before he ventured into more distant fields and was joined by Sabrina in a Zigzag expedition of East Africa. Later journeys tend to be centred around the Far East, but this is a wonderfully varied record of a lifetime in travel. This copy in superb condition PS49.99
