Eumovate eczema and dermatitis cream is a moderate strength steroid cream designed to improve and relieve inflamed skin and itching related to conditions like eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, and insect bites. This is a short-term treatment. What is the active ingredient in Eumovate Cream? The active ingredient in Eumovate is clobetasone this works to reduce redness, itching and swelling, and is ideal for treating patches of dry, scaly skin. Warnings and Precautions: Eumovate should not used whilst pregnant or breastfeeding unless it has been approved by your doctor. Even then it should not be used on large areas of skin for a long period of time. Eumovate cream is generally very well tolerated, and side effects are rare. Skin itching and redness should improve in a short amount of time with Eumovate. Eumovate can be applied in conjunction with other moisturisers, though it's best to wait around half an hour between applications to let the Eumovate cream sink in. Ingredients: Active ingredient: Clobetasone butyrate 0.05% w/w. Also contains: Glycerol, Glycerol Monostearate, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Beeswax substitute 6621, Arlacel 165, Dimeticone 20, Chlorocresol, Sodium citrate, Citric acid monohydrate and purified water.
