It is made from light, rigid plastic with an integrated handle on the top so it is easy to lift in and out of the car. The bi-directional sliding doors have a safety catch. The doors are also removable so you can use the carrier as a bed. Simply place your own non-slip blanket over the hygienic mat which is supplied with the carrier and your dog will feel completely at home. The large slits ensure adequate ventilation.
