Ultimate Level Sonic Performance FiiO has equipped the flagship R9 with an ultimate-level dual-DAC arrangement. The DAC section on the device adopts dual ES9038Pro flagship 32-bit DAC chips from ESS Sabre Technologies. The ES9038Pro is a trusted and reputed chipset that has garnered a lot of praise for its impressive sound signal decoding performance. FiiO has implemented the same in its other flagship devices such as the M17 portable audio player. It’s a true flagship DAC arrangement for ultimate sonic precision and accuracy. Strong Amplification With Stronger Chipset In order to get the best out of the R9’s dual DAC setup, FiiO has equipped the device with a THX788+ truly desktop amp chipset. New-Generation XMOS USB Processor FiiO R9 comes with the latest-generation USB signal processor chipset. It comes equipped with XMOS XU316 16-core 3rd-gen processor. It enables smoother sound signal processing and supports 32-bit PCM and native DSD signal decoding on the device. HDMI ARC Input Supported Along with the regular USB, Coaxial, and Optical input options, the new FiiO R9 also supports HDMI ARC for digital sound signal input on the device.
