(backing the legendary baritone Fischer-Dieskau, are : [all four recordings] harpsichordist Edith Picht-Axenfeld, & cellist Irmgard Poppen ; [Side Two - Track 2, additional] flautist Aurele Nicolet, & oboist Lothar Koch) In a particularly collectable MONO L.P., from the Early-Sixties - released on the eternally-respected EMI "His Master's Voice" label -, the legend that was the German baritone, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau (1925-2012), sings four memorable cantatas : The first, from Johann Sebastian Bach's (1685-1750) brilliant back-catalogue ; and, three cantatas from the one-and-only, George Frideric Handel's (1685-1759) litany of works ... Side One :- 1) "Amore Traditore" Cantata BWV.203, by J.S. Bach. 2) Trio Sonata in D minor, by Handel. Side Two :- 1) "Dalla Guerra Amorosa" Cantata, by Handel. 2) "Cuopre Tal Volta Il Cielo" Cantata, by Handel.
