The metal-faced door on the Flip Fix wall or ceiling access panel can be installed in as little as 3 minutes. It's made to fit into a pre-cut hole with the help of the included pop-out cutting template. The Panel comes equipped with a Flush lock and tee key, as well as a 20mm Picture Frame for retrofit. As a standard, the panel is fire-rated for 1 hour. Building services, hidden flues, ducts, and chimney systems are all possible applications. Part J Building Regulations are ideal for this product. This is the simplest Fire Rated Access Panel to install because there is no need to screw into a timber surround. The unique flipfix device attaches to plasterboard with a clamp. The panel is 1-hour fire rated as standard in accordance with B.S.476: Part22:1987. These panels are designed for inspection purposes only and are not suitable for personal access. Meets the FR-30 and FR-60 Specification's minimum requirements.
