Flixonase aqueous nasal spray is a corticosteroid nasal spray used to effectively treat the symptoms of hay fever and other nasal allergies. It contains fluticasone propionate, which acts as an anti-inflammatory, reducing irritation inside the nose and helping to over time stabilise it. Unlike normal anti histamine nasal sprays, Flixonase can also help with eye related symptoms. This is because the steroid helps to stabilise the tissue in the area in general and over time has an additive effect meaning it becomes more effective after a few days. It takes a few days for it to reach it's full effect but will help with symptoms after just a few hours. Flixonase is a potent prescription treatment.
