'Flowers & Flourishes is a working manual made for typographers and graphic designers with such elegance as will also delight the most critical of bibliophiles.'. Book by John Ryder, published by The Bodley Head in 1976. 168 pages total. DJ is in Poor condition. Housed in protective wrapper. Large chunk of front cover missing, tear to rest of same cover has been mended with tape. Further large chips and tears to spine and back cover. All corners worn and chipped also. Library sticker near tail of spine. Book is in Fair condition. Ex library copy. Some wear to boards, especially at top and bottom edges. All corners worn also. Pen mark to top edge of text block, spotting to bottom edge. Library stamps and plates to pastedown and FEP (See picture 6). Some pen inscriptions to pages in latter half of the book also (See picture 8). Fairly loose binding.
