Undated souvenir booklet from Jerusalem, published by Emanuel Friedman. This small booklet is in landscape format, with glued-on wooden boards; the front one has an illustration of the Church of the Sepulcre. There are twelve colour postcards illustrated with views from the Holy Land and on the reverse is a decorative pressed flower arrangement. Each card is tissue-guarded, with captions in Hebrew, English, French and German. The book is undated, but a previous owner's signature, dated 1942, is on the inner front board. The front wooden board has completely detached but may easily be glued back on. Otherwise, this rare and charming little book is in excellent condition - especially given the delicacy of the materials.
