This Large Bodymedics Footshield Wedge Shoe is specially designed with an angled forefoot wedge which has been clinically proven to effectively reduce weight bearing pressure from the forefoot.This unique design makes the Footshield Wedge Shoe that standard choice of treatment for the care of diabetic ulcers. As standard this Wedge Shoe is fitted with a removable toe cap therefore providing added convenience and improved patient protection. The squared toe is specifically designed to accommodate the presence of K wires. To ensure optimum levels of comfort are reached when using the Footshield Wedge Shoe is comes supplied with a memory foam insole. Providing a tailored yet supportive fit is key, this Wedge Shoe has a Velcro adjustable closure helping to minimise pressure on the forefoot, yet is adjustable to accommodate for bulky dressings. This is the large sized Footshield Wedge Shoe that is desigbed to be worn on the right foot; four other sizes are also available in this section of the website.
