Four programmes from concerts at the Royal Albert Hall in 1951 and 1952. Solomon playing Beethoven's Second and Fifth Piano Concertos, with Herbert Menges conducting, Beethoven's Fifth Symphony was also on the programme. Eileen Joyce playing Tchaikovsky's First Piano Concerto, with Adrian Boult conducting, Beethoven's Seventh Symphony was also on the programme. Muir Mathieson conducting Film Music, with piano accompaniment from Eileen Joyce. Pierino Gamba conducting the London Symphony Orchestra in Beethoven's Fifth and Sixth Symphonies. The programmes are all short stapled booklets. The staples have begun to rust and the booklets have creases and folds and the odd light mark, but there are no annotations. Size (of each programme) 25 x 18.5 cm. If you would like to browse the other items our shop has available online, please click on our shop's name.
