Simple yet elegant with very detailed carving of the knights for this price range. The ebonised process converts standard yellow boxwood to a very convincing faux ebony colour - it's pretty hard to tell the difference. This superb large Board is a veneer design, manufactured to exacting tolerances. The black printing is provided using the latest lithographic techniques which results in a ultra sharp contrast between the squares.
