Part of the Fretz Silversmithing range For Heavier force striking Ideal for seamless raising Features two narrow faces 420 grade stainless steel and Padauk wood This Fretz Silversmithing Narrow Raising Hammer is part of the Fretz silversmithing range of hammers that have been specifically designed for full force striking when making silversmithing pieces or larger metal items. This Fretz Silversmithing Hammer features one 19mm x 8mm rectangular face and one 19mm x 6mm rectangular face, both ideal for seamlessly raising metal, creating custom bezels and small sculptures. Both faces have a high, mirror finish that ensure fantastic results and work extremely well when used with various stakes to help form finer concave curves. Delivering precision, whilst being built for toughness and durability, this Narrow Raising Hammer is a scaled up version of the Fretz Jewellers Narrow Raising Hammer (999 7416). It provides a much heavier tool, perfect for use with thicker metal gauges. The hammer head is made from 420 graded stainless steel and is secured onto a beautifully crafted handle made from oiled Padauk wood, which has been designed to flex during hammering for increased comfort and reduced strain.
