Scheuerman (1941) This 1941 hardcover book is in good condition. It is printed in German Frakturschrift. There is a previous owner's inscription in blue ink on one of the book's first blank endpapers (please see photograph). There are no other internal markings or annotations. The text pages of this book are clean. They have tanned ever so slightly with age. There are no marks, stains or evidence of foxing. The paper is clean and the text clear and well-defined at all points. The edges of the text block are in good condition. The pages continue to sit together well, free from creasing, crumpling and tearing. Externally, this book has blue cloth covered boards. The gilt lettering present at the centre of the front cover and running down the spine remains vibrant. There are watermarks present in the fabric on both the front and back covers (please see photograph). The boards are not exposed. The hinges of this book are intact, the binding feels tight and there are no loose or missing pages. This is a used book in good condition. Very good text pages, watermarked exterior.
