Jute pendant lamp Iguazu in natural look A pleasant, natural flair emanates from the hanging lamp Iguazu. Its shade is made entirely of the natural fiber jute, which is considered particularly robust, very stretchable and tear-resistant. Its cultivation takes place on fertile alluvial soils, which means that the jute plant does not need to be fertilized. This is an advantage for both the environment and the farmers, because the cultivation is not as intensive as with cotton, for example. This sustainable character makes the material ideal for the Good & Mojo brand's sustainable, conscious lighting collection, launched by Dutch manufacturer It's about Romi. The goal is to create lighting that leaves the smallest possible environmental footprint while doing some good. For example, through the partnership with non-profit organizations, one tree is planted for every luminaire sold. Due to the nature of the shade, the light enters the room through the fine meshes and creates atmospheric accents.
