Design table lamp Grashoppa - a versatile light source with style The appealing contrast between the coloured powder-coated shade and the brass frame of the Grashoppa table lamp is both impressive and contemporary. The design, created by the Swede Greta Magnusson Grossman (1906-1999), dates back to 1947. The designer, who lived in Europe and North America and whose focus was on industrial design, was considered a female pioneer in the design world, which had previously been dominated by men. Her designs for Grashoppa and the table lamp Cobra are considered design icons. With the table lamp Grashoppa the conical shaped metal shade can be turned. Thus the light direction can be changed at will. Grashoppa with its decorative design fits in with many current interior design styles and can be used for a wide variety of purposes, for example as a reading lamp on the living room table or as a desk lamp. - simple operation via toggle switch on the lamp base - Product of the Danish manufacturer Gubi
