I ain't gonna lie to ya Barry Island's crackin'...as you'll find out for yourself on this brilliantly entertaining Gavin and Stacey tour! This is the original and official Gavin and Stacey bus tour around Barry Island's favourite sights and filming locations for the much-loved TV comedy series.Your rendezvous point is a 2-3 minute walk from Barry Island station. Fans of the show will immediately get into the Gavlar & Stacey vibe as soon as you see the bus that'll be taking you on this magical tour of Barry Island. Onboard will be your Welsh lass from the Valleys who'll be your hostess and guide for the tour - and she's pretty hilarious with all the Gavin and Stacey bants you could ever need! After a bit of a meet and greet it's time to board your coach to see what's occurrin' in and around Barry. You'll see the caravan where Nessa and Dave Gooch lived (crystal balls for fortune telling not obligatory!) and visit St Peter's church where they nearly married. Then there's the infamous Nessa's Slots at the Island Leisure arcade. And yes you can even sit in Nessa's cashier chair - where Gavin and Stacey memorabilia galore is also on-sale. Leave the ringing of the slot machines behind and pop into Marco's Cafe which is right on Barry's esplanade where the seafront is just as it looked on the telly. The cafe really was Marco's and is indeed owned by Marco Zeraschi and has a rather excellent range of coffees and patisseries don't you know. Plus there are life-size pictures of Gavin Stacey Smithy and Nessa on the side of their van if you want to take a snap with your Vale of Glamorgan heroes. Heading away from the seafront the Gavin & Stacey tour comes to what is for many a highlight - Stacey's house. The neat little bay-fronted terrace is on a hill near the centre and it has been known for the owner to let those on the tour inside to have a sneaky peak at where Gav and Stacey lived. Head straight into the kitchen where there's bound to be a frying pan on the stove and you can say 'What'll you have Smithy? Cheese ham tomato?' And who could forget that very last scene of the very last episode of the third and final series? Our loveable four end up on Barry beachfront with a Stacey heavily pregnant. You too can sit next to that very pillar in front of 'Boofy's - The Godfather of Sole' to reflect on all that you've seen on this crackin' Gavin and Stacey tour.
