Gemini Multi Media Hawaiian Applique Die - Pineapple Transport your textiles to tropical climates with the Hawaiian Applique Dies. By using the Pineapple Die, you can create soft craft projects that'll make life a little less prickly! The idea behind these dies was to put a modern spin on the traditional technique of Hawaiian quilting and applique. The traditional technique features symmetrical applique motifs on quilts with the designs created by cutting folded fabric by hand. You can achieve the amazing designs from the traditional craft without having to touch a pair of fabric scissors! With a simple pass through the Gemini die-cutting machine or any other compatible die-cutting machine, you can cut through your fabric and see perfect results every time. All you have to do is: Fold your fabric into quarters Place the die with the blades facing upwards on to your cutting plate Add your chosen fabric on top, making sure that the die lines up with the edge Add another cutting plate on top and roll the whole thing through the die-cutting machine to be left with a four-point design This 1.5mm Multi Media die is capable of cutting through multiple layers of fabric at once, so you'll have a whole world of quilting and patchwork opportunities at your fingertips! This means that the process of cutting out your fabric is much quicker than using a rotary cutter, so you'll have more time to focus on stitching and embellishing your project to perfection. Try using this design on quilts, table runners, cushion covers or bag panels to create the ultimate tropical look! Some dies may have sharp points, edges or corners.
