The ladies' Giro Terra MIPS helmet uses a low-profile design with plenty of comfort and safety features built in. In-mould construction keeps the weight to a minimum using a Polycarbonate outer shell fused to an impact-absorbing EPS foam liner. MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is integrated into the helmet and reduces the effects of rotational forces from angled falls or impacts. The Passive Aggressive venting system provides optimum airflow and temperature regulation, while Stack Ventilation draws hot air away from goggles to help your vision stay crystal clear. Giro s highly comfortable In Form 2 fit system allows for fine-tuning at the twist of a dial, and On-The-Fly vertical tuning can be adjusted to accommodate different goggles and head shapes. Plush Max padding and ear pads wick moisture and are warm next to the skin, and a clip at the rear ensures goggles remain firmly in place. Ellis Brigham was born in 1933, the brainchild of Frederick Ellis Brigham, who set up business making cycling shoes and walking boots in a tiny 'two up, two down' building on the outskirts of Manchester.
After the war, as mountain walking and climbing became more and more popular, the shop began to sell ex-WD climbing equipment and Brigham's boots with their special nailing patterns became very sought after.
Fast forward almost 80 years and Ellis Brigham now has 24 shops across the UK and a leading website, making it the UK's premier retailer for ski hardware, mountaineering equipment and outdoor clothing.
