The Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan built the world-renowned Taj Mahal as a tomb of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It houses Shah Jahans tomb itself. Constructed over a 20-year period on the southern bank of the Yamuna River in Agra, India, the famed complex is one of the most outstanding examples of Mughal architecture, which combined Indian, Persian and Islamic influences. It remains one of the worlds most celebrated structures and a stunning symbol of Indias rich history. The detailed wall carvings and inlay work form inspiration for this earring. 0.82 carat of Sungle Cut Diamonds, 2. 12 grams of 14kt gold , 13. 36 grams of silver and blue enamel work.
