Use in any type of jewellery. This Jump Ring is supplied open. It is 7mm in size and 1mm thick. Gold filled jewellery is also known as rolled gold or gold bonded, is created by mechanically bonding a layer of gold to a layer of base metal - usually brass. The outer gold layer must be at least 1/20 of the overall metal content by weight, and is therefore a much thicker and more durable alternative to gold plating. Unlike gold plated metal, gold filled can be soldered using 9ct or 14ct gold easy solder. Supplied in a pack of 10.
