A Matte Medium Gel from Golden that offers many ways to build up unique and interesting textures on multiples surfaces. It can be used to create a glaze, alternatively it can extend paints and change their finishes. These gels can be thought of as essentially a colorless paint as they will make use of the same 100% acrylic polymers as traditional acrylic paint. This gel once dried with provide a matte finish which has a low amount of sheen giving less reflective light to your work which might be good to hide inconsistencies in the surface like pinholes or dents. It can also be made use for a type of adhesive for collage and mixed media and once dried will provide great film flexibility with chemical, water and UV resistance.
