To celebrate 20 years since the extraordinary Grand Seiko Spring Drive movement was released, the brand has unveiled this breathtaking Grand Seiko Sport Spring Drive GMT Titanium watch. In 1977, a young Seiko engineer known as Yoshikazu Akahane had the dream to create a watch with a one-second-a-day accuracy, something that only the finest electronic watches could deliver. It took him 27 years and over 600 prototypes, but eventually the Grand Seiko Spring Drive watch collection was born, and its success was guaranteed. This Grand Seiko Titanium Limited Edition watch boasts the 9R96 Spring Drive movement where the aspiration for a one-second-a-day accuracy continues to be upheld. The timepiece continues to impress with a 44.5mm Zaratsu polished titanium case, dual curved sapphire crystal glass and a striking brown coloured dial detailed with a pattern inspired by the mane of a lion. The dial is also decorated with multifaceted hands and hour markers coated in Lumibrite, a 72 hour power reserve indicator, chronograph function and a large date window at 3 o clock. To complete the look of this Grand Seiko Sport Spring Drive watch, an elegant titanium bracelet is added alongside a three fold clasp with push release.
