Information on the authors from the inside cover: "Jan Sedlak (1943) graduated from the Faculty of Arts of J. E. Purkyne University (now Masaryk University) in Brno. After working in the sphere of historic preservation, he began teaching in 1987 at the faculty of architecture at the Brno University of Technology. In 2000, he transferred his affiliation to the Faculty of Fine Arts of the same university, where he was also appointed dean. Among his scholarly interests is the 20th century architecture of Brno, which he has described in the publications Ve znameni moderny [In the Name of Modernism] and Brno secesni [Secessionist Brno). Iveta Cerna (1963) graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Brno University of Technology. She has worked in the field of historic preservation of interwar architecture, with a special focus on technological questions. Since 2003, she has been a research associate of the Museum of the City of Brno and is in charge of the Villa Tugendhat. Dagmar Cernouskova (1965) graduated from the Faculty of Arts of J. E. Purkyne University in Brno. Until 2004, her primary field of activity was the structural and historic description of architectural landmarks, which she regularly published. Since 2005, she has worked for the Museum of the City of Brno in the Villa Tugendhat. Jindrich Chatrny (1965) graduated from the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno. He works for the Museum of the City of Brno in the department of architectural history and urban planning, which he has headed since 2003. His primary interest is interwar architecture, with a specific focus on interiors and furniture, and he has participated in many exhibits on the work of Brno's modernist architects. Lenka Kudelkova (1958) graduated from the Faculty of Arts of J. E. Purkyne University in Brno. From 1990 to 2002, she was the head of the department of architectural history and urban planning at the Museum of the City of Brno. Her interests include the history of interwar architecture in Brno and elsewhere in Moravia. She participated in the preparation of the exhibit and catalogue The New Brno held at Spilberk Castle, the first permanent display of modern architecture in the Czech Republic, and many other architecture exhibitions. Jindrich Vybiral (1960) studied Czech literature, history and art history at the universities of Ostrava, Brno and London. He worked for the National Gallery in Prague as the chief curator for architecture; since 1997, he has been deputy rector of the University of the Applied Arts in Prague. He has published many studies and books about the architecture and urban planning of the 19th and 20th centuries, e.g. Zrozeni velkomesta [The Birth of the Metropolis), or Ceska architektura na prahu moderni doby [Czech Architecture at the Threshold of Modernity]." This book is in excellent condition, free from highlighting, underlining or any significant blemishes. There are very mild signs of wear to the corners of the dust cover, and a 1cm tear on the top right, but otherwise this is clean and in very good condition
