This fully automatic defibrillator means you do not have to press a button to administer a shock, this is done automatically if the device assesses that the patient requires defibrillation. The American manufacturer of HeartSine has chosen to incorporate the battery and electrodes into one single unit. This so called PadPak is easily to click into the AED and lasts for around 4 years. The AED itself has a guarantee of 10 years, the longest of all the AEDs.
