Hemsborna Och Skarksarlsliv Av August Strindberg Stockholm: Albert Bonniers Forlag (1928) This 1928 hardcover book is in very good condition. There are no itnernal markings or annotations. The pastedowns and endpapers are a little grubby but the text pages are remarkably clean. The paper is bright, the font is well-defined and the text is legible at all points. There is no staining and no blemishes to the paper. There is also no evidence of foxing. The edges of the text block are beautifully marbled. The pages continue to sit together well, free from creasing, marking and staining. Externally, this book is quarter bound in red calf with very attractive marbled boards. There is some wear around the covers' edges and at the corners the boards are exposed. The spine is in good condition. The leather is chipped at the head and tail end. There is a split forming between the spine and where is joins the front cover. This exposes the webbing. The front cover remains firmly attached and the inside hinge does not appear cracked. Both of the book's hinges are intact, the binding feels tight and there are no loose or missing pages. This is a used book in very good condition.
