The body of this lock is made from steel with a brass mechanism making it extremely tough and durable. The HipLok Lite lock is made of 6mm hardened steel chain, very much alike theHipLok V1.50 Waist Chain Lockhowever the chain used is 2mm thinner, hence Lite. Whilst wearing the lock, to stop any discomfort to yourself, and also offering protection to your bike, the chain is covered in an impact resistant, super tough nylon case making the lock even stronger; this will give you peace of mind when worrying about having to lock up your bike.
