Historic aviation magazines: 2 x "Tangmere Logbook" (Autumn 2014 and Summer 2016, both Very Good plus) and "RAF Flying Review" (December 1954, Good). The "Tangmere Logbook" is the Magazine of the Tangmere Military Aviation Museum. Tangmere was a front-line RAF fighter station during the Battle of Britain and these magazines feature articles recalling wartime and post-war aviation by former RAF pilots and their families. See photographs. The issue of the RAF Flying Review from Dec. 1954 features a full-page colour "poster" of the Fairey Delta 2, a British supersonic research aircraft which flew for the first time in 1954 and became the first aircraft to achieve 1000 mph in level flight. It would go on to raise the world air speed record from 822 to 1132 mph, piloted by Peter Twiss. This issue has a worn spine due to rusted staples, but is complete and overall in Good condition. See photographs.
