Not your everyday kind of Rum. Windyside Spirits was founded by husband & wife combo Eric Kaye and Maura Gedid. Eric introduced Maura to fine aged Rums while they were dating and it became a shared passion. They formed Windyside Spirits in 2019 and set to importing premium single-cask Rums to support their new Holmes Cay brand. Their first stop, the famous Foursquare Distillery in Barbados where Eric and Maura struck a deal for their inaugural release. Since then they have reached out to curate the examples of Rum from all over and deliver them to the world. There's not a lot of high-proof unadulterated Rum from South Pacific distilleries left in the world but you'll find it in Holmes Cay 17 Year Old Fiji 2004 Single Cask Rum. A collector's gem, only 4 barrels of this exceptional Rum were made available for the entire US. This is a molasses-based and 100% pot-distilled Rum that delivers a classic Fijian Rum profile with flavors of citrus, pepper, and caramel was bottled at 58% ABV in 2021.
