Yehiel De-Nur or Dinur, known by his pen name Ka-tzetnik 135633 was a Jewish writer and Holocaust survivor. The book has a dust jacket which is in fair condition. Red boards with gilt titles on the spine, some marks on boards. Brown stains on front and back page. Pages generally in good condition for age, tanning and some staining to page leaves and to some pages but text is clear. Tight binding, all pages intact, no markings or inscriptions. It is hard to categorise ' House of Dolls for example Na'ama Shik, researching at Yad Vashem, has categorised this book as fiction, however it is based on an authentic diary and the author claimed 'House of Dolls was inspired by his time as a prisoner in the Auschwitz concentration camp.
