Hunting in British East Africa by Percy Madeira First British Edition With a foreword by F.C. Selous and 129 illustrations from the photographs by the author, as well as 2 large folding maps in a pocket at the end. An excellent volume on Safari hunting in East Africa, two years before Teddy Roosevelt's Safari, beautifully written, an all time hunting classic. Bound in hunter green cloth and the title in gold and a head of a cape buffalo in black on the front. Comes with its own slipcase. In good condition for its age. There is shelf wear on the cover and the spine. The bottom half of the spine has been painted in light green, and there are some marks inside, including on the title page. Most of the other pages are clean and in good condition.
