It has everything the Life Fitness IC4 Indoor Bike offers but with an advanced console and internal engineering and technology that guarantees an extremely accurate workout that can be replicated every time. First of all lets check out the internal technology that the Life Fitness IC5 offers. Power meter training is becoming wide spread amongst pro riders and is being taken up by amateur riders as well. On the Life Fitness IC5 cycle computer the users power output is displayed in watts and this performance data can be applied to training programmes to maximise workout results. However its important that the watt output is accurate and accurate every time and if used in a spin class consistent with every bike. The Life Fitness IC5 Cycle achieves this precision by a patent pending flywheel with a positioning sensor measuring the resistance applied to the magnetic brake. Where it gets more technical and clever is the flywheel has a sensor that measure the magnets position. This first ever application to an indoor cycle means that every IC5 bike will accurately display resistance levels on the WattRate LCD computer and the resistance curve will be identical every time on every bike. The WattRate LCD computer features a fully integrated LCD screen with on-demand backlight function. Located above the LCD screen is an option called Coach By Colour.
