IWC Watch Big Pilots Top Gun Edition Mojave Desert IW506003. Precision instruments like the IWC Top Gun watches are technically sophisticated enough for use by US Navy's most skilled pilots. The Big Pilot's Watch Top Gun Edition "Mojave Desert" is perfect for us in a cramped jet cockpit and boasts a highly scratch resistant and corrosion resistant case crafted from sand coloured ceramic. To complement the colour of the case, which is developed from powdered raw materials that are shaped and then sintered at high temperatures, the dial is finished in a luxurious brown colour with luminous Arabic numeral hour markers and central hands. The unique colour of the case seen in this IWC Big Pilot's Watch Top Gun Edition "Mojave Desert" is achieved by blending zirconium oxide with metallic oxides in very specific ratios. Inside the case is the IWC manufactured 52110 Calibre, equipped with a Pellaton winding system and components crafted from ceramic components. The movement creates a 7 day power reserve which can be monitored by the indicator shown on the dial at 3 o'clock. The self winding engine is also protected inside a soft iron inner case which shields its internal centre from damage caused by magnetic fields. The 46mm IWC Big Pilot's Watch Top Gun Edition "Mojave Desert" also features a black date aperture at 3 o'clock, balanced by the famous IWC Schaffhausen lettering at 12 o'clock. The entire surface of the dial is protected by a sapphire crystal glass lens, convex in shape and secured against displacement by drops in air pressure. This IWC Big Pilot's Watch Top Gun is completed on a matching beige coloured rubber strap with a textile inlay for maximum comfort.
