IWC Watch Pilot's Chronograph 41 IW388104. The IWC Schaffhausen Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 marks an important chapter in the history of the Maison's tool watch and pilot's watch heritage. The instrument is the first to be housed inside a 41mm case. Since its inception in 1994, the versatile and functional IWC chronograph has been a pillar to the success of the manufacturer's vast array of luxury pilot's watches. It now takes residence upon a robust stainless steel case imbued with all the distinct characteristics of the popular IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph - rhodium plated hands, a sturdy stainless steel bracelet, a column wheel movement and a highly legible and practical dial. Furthermore, there are modifications built into the Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 that make it even more attuned for daily wear. The case of the IWC Pilot's Chronograph watch is 100 meter water resistant, wrapping effortlessly around the Calibre 69385 and its 231 part construction. The automatic, self winding movement can deliver a 46 hour power reserve and puts its column wheel escapement on show through a crisp sapphire crystal glass caseback. The IWC Schaffhausen pilot's watch also boasts a captivating green dial embellished with luminous coated central hands and Arabic numeral hour markers. In addition to the chronograph functions which deliver a 30 minute counter, a small seconds feature and a 12 hour totaliser at 12, 6 and 9 o'clock respectively, the wearer can also make use of a day and date feature. Positioned shoulder to shoulder the apertures at 3 o'clock are dressed against a vivid white background for enhanced readability. The IWC Pilot's Watch Chronograph 41 is fine tuned to the needs of the modern wearer, offering him a chance to switch the strap from its rugged steel bracelet to a rubber or calfskin alternative from the IWC Schaffhausen catalogue thanks to the patented EasX CHANGE system.
