Hardcover with white coarse-weave effect cloth boards. Published by Taussend 17 Publications, Germany. First edition in English, first impression, October 2002. Limited edition of 500 copies. A collection of photographs taken in the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt, by Bernhard Tauss during 2002. He avoided the well known destinations such as Sharm el Sheik and St Catherine's, to focus his camera on the "61,000 sq km of nothingness" as the area has been called. Most of the book is comprised of colour photographs. All text is in English, possibly translated from German by the author. A German version of this book exists, also published in October 2002. Hardback in a translucent pictorial dust jacket. The boards have a slight bend, otherwise the book is in very good condition, with bright clean pages and no inscriptions.
