Number 916 of limited edition of 1050 copies of "In Pursuit", the Autobiography of Sir William Russell Flint. Signed and numbered by the artist's son, Francis Russell Flint. The edition comprised 150 fully leather bound and 850 quarter leather bound in red morocco: this item is number 916, in the quarter leather morocco. It contains 276 pages, including end papers: 109 plates, 120 illustrations in all, of which 13 are in full colour, depicting Sir Williams drawings, etchings, book illustrations, oil and watercolour paintings. Sir William approved the final form of the complete work before his death in December 1969. The late Francis Russell Flint, whose tribute to his father has been reproduced, signed and numbered each volume. Included in the sale are the original handwritten invoice from The Medici Society, dated 25th April 1980, plus various copies of teh prospectus and two post cards featuring WR Flints prints.
