'International Motion Picture Almanac 1958', the 29th edition in the series edited by Charles S. Aaronson and published by Quigley Publications, New York in 1957. Covers a wide range of subjects including statistics, including earnings and numbers of movie theatres worldwide, films completed, codes and censorship, directors credited, polls and awards given, list of film critics and publications, etc. Includes a special chapter on the industry in Great Britain. Two tone, orange and black cloth covers measuring 16cm x 23.5cm, with black embossed lettering to front, silver lettering to spine and black embossed illustration to rear. Illustrated endpapers. 922 pp., including several pages of advertisements and with thumb notches. Weighs>1.6 kg. In fair to good condition. The hard covers are intact with minimal edge and corner wear, though there is laxity in both hinges. Otherwise, the binding is very firm. The pages are uniformly lightly tanned with no tears, but the rear endpapers are stained. There are no inscriptions or other markings.
