The Italian Leather Lightweight Dog ID Tag Collar by Petiquette Collars. A soft and luxuriously comfortable dog ID collar, designed to keep your dog safely tagged with ID while its at home. Think of it as a comfy pair of slippers for your pooch. The collar is so lightweight that your dog will barely notice it, yet its also strong enough to securely hold an ID tag. The tag collar is made from the finest quality Italian leather, causes no irritation, and wont get tangled in your dogs fur. The tag collar can be made with or without a clasp. This version is finished with a high-quality steel loop and clasp that will simply clip on around your dogs neck like a necklace. Please note These collars are NOT suitable for use with a lead. They are house collars, designed to hold ID tags in case your dog gets out and becomes lost. To measure your dog's neck for a house collar which has a clasp, it's a simple case of measuring the dog's neck where you would like it to sit. We would normally recommend just above the collar bone, and a little lower than where a regular collar would sit. Wrap a soft tape measure around the neck so that it's touching the fur but isn't too tight - don't put any fingers underneath either, that will result in too loose a collar. Whatever the measurement is at the point taken, select the size from the drop-down menu. The total length of the collar including clasps and o ring will be the same as this measurement and should sit perfectly where you've measured.
