Signed first edition. John Minshaw, who is featured here, is "a designer who induces rave reviews from his clients and once seen his interiors are hard to forget". This beautifully produced book is packed full of colour photographs of John's work. It is signed by him on the title page. There is a grey slipcase, also in great condition, which has kept this volume so spick and span. Minshaw says he came to interiors by default. But it is clear that his early training in fine art influences much of his work. "My style is to buy good antiques and design bespoke cabinetry, then put them into pared-down interiors," he says -- a design ethic that is a neat contrast to the cliched froufrou swags and tails often associated with interior design. Photography is by Paul Redman, Tom Leighton, Andreas von Einsiedel and Simon Upton.
