To use, squeeze the two levers together to force the cloves through the pierced extruder plate and then separate the the two levers and use to the top one as a handy scraping tool for removing the crushed garlic from the front of the extruder plate. To remove the remaining skin or pulp use the tip of the lever from the extruding chamber to scrap the remainder away.
