Three volume set of 'Memoirs of the Owen Family', by Harold Owen. Books detail the life of English poet Wilfred Owen from 1893 to 1918. Volume 1: Childhood; Volume 2: Youth and Volume 3: Journey From Obscurity. Published by Oxford University Press, London in 1963, 1964 and 1965 respectively. Volume 1 is xiii, 274, Volume 2 is ix, 292 and Volume 3 is xi, 263 pages total. Ex library copies. Copies are in Good condition. No DJ to first 2 volumes, 3rd housed in DJ and protective wrapper. DJ price clipped, a few marks to inside of DJ and to spine. Some wear and marks to boards of all copies. Some white marks to back board of Volume 1 also. All corners lightly worn also. First 2 volumes spine sunned, wear at head/ tail. Some spotting and marks to all edges of text block. Light spotting to all edges of text block, ex library stamp on bottom edge. Library stamp to pastedown of all volumes. Further marks to front FEP, library stamp present also. 3rd volume gutter break to back pastedown, inscription present. 3rd volume has further library stamps to copyright page. All 3 volumes text appears clean throughout, a few marks present. Fairly loose binding.
