With an Intuition Pro Tour Wrap Liner that moulds to your foot, removable 120 Flex Tongue for tailored stiffness, and a heat-mouldable Diverge Tour 3-Piece Shell, it offers a comfy fit and impressive tour capabilities. Designed for those who dare to get creative or explore, the Diverge SC is the perfect fusion of punchy performance, customisation and functionality, helping to make the whole mountain your playground. Ability Level Tour5 Overview Fit A slightly more relaxed feel compared to most tour/backcountry boots. Medium volume around the rear foot and generous in the forefoot with some adaptability over the instep because of the cabrio design. Shell TPU shell, customisable. Using a TPU shell means they can be easily customised and has the power to drive skis, but it remains light and not over stiff with excellent rebound. Liner Tour Pro Wrap, mouldable. With a Tour Flex Notch, removable external J-Bars, lacing system, and power strap, the Tour Pro makes walking a blister-free experience in an enveloping, snug fit. The foam is listed here from foot to shell: 2mm Intuition MD, medium density and hardness for a solid balance of comfort and performance; 4mm Open Cell, ensures warmth and comfort straight out of the box; 7mm Intuition HD Foam, high density and firm for a responsive and efficient transfer of energy. This Intuition closed cell foam is body heat activated to mould 100% to your feet and shells during use, or can be instantly heat moulded by a shop in minutes for a light, warm and super comfortable fit. J-Bars are additional j-shaped piece of foam that is inserted internally on both sides of the ankle area to dramatically increase ankle hold down, to keep your feet perfectly in place for precise control. Ellis Brigham was born in 1933, the brainchild of Frederick Ellis Brigham, who set up business making cycling shoes and walking boots in a tiny 'two up, two down' building on the outskirts of Manchester.
After the war, as mountain walking and climbing became more and more popular, the shop began to sell ex-WD climbing equipment and Brigham's boots with their special nailing patterns became very sought after.
Fast forward almost 80 years and Ellis Brigham now has 24 shops across the UK and a leading website, making it the UK's premier retailer for ski hardware, mountaineering equipment and outdoor clothing.
