Deer antlers with a difference: Marnin designer wall lamp made of ceramic Marnin has little in common with the usual deer antlers that hunters like to hang on their walls as trophies. This extraordinary wall lamp embodies a stag's head, but is made of ceramic in an animal-friendly way. The ceramic is untreated and therefore matt white. Whether Rudolf, the reindeer, was the godfather of the designer of the Marnin wall lamp is unknown, but the placement of the light source directly on the nose of the animal suggests it. When choosing the light source to be used, it should be noted that it is completely visible and is not covered or dimmed by any lampshade. Unusual designs are the trademark of the Italian lighting manufacturer Karman. Matteo Ugolini, the designer of Marnin, is art director at Karman and creates the majority of the company's range. Karman's products stand for Italian design and craftsmanship.
