Knight's Catalogue of Books & Forms For Boards Of Guardians: Poor Law and Assessment Committees Catalogue Undated but probably early 1900s. Charles Knight (1791 - 1873) was an English publisher, editor and author. He published and contributed to works such as The Penny Magazine, The Penny Cyclopaedia, and The English Cyclopaedia. In 1855 he established the Local Government Chronicle, a British weekly magazine for local government officers. In fair condition with clean pages inside. Soft boards are discoloured, soiled and slightly foxed.
