The waterproofing in this Glove is guaranteed by Knox Seal, a highly breathable laminated membrane, guaranteed to give 100% waterproofness and wind protection. The flexible Knox Seal sits directly below the glove shell, leaving the rider drier and more comfortable.For further rider comfort, there is increased dexterity as the membrane is bonded to the shell, making the glove thinner, giving greater feel and sensitivity. This is also improved further by a Box construction in the fingers. There are accordion stretch panels on the fingers, thumb and top of hand for increased flexibility, and a Amara Silicone grip pad on the palm for improved feel. The Cuff of this Glove is low profile so that it fits well under Jackets, but it is also expandable using a zip so that the Gloves are easier to take on and off. Additional comfort features include a topside Velcro wrist closure for ease of use, and a secure and comfortable fit, as well as a Amara touch screen on 2 fingers and 1 thumb for simple device use whilst out on a ride.For rider protection, a patented low-profile Knox Scaphoid Protection System (SPS) has been included on the palm (Patent No EP1594378) to eliminate the grab effect that occurs when a leather palm contacts the road, reducing the risk of hyper extension which can be the cause of a broken scaphoid. There is also a soft, Micro-Lock Knuckle, and strategically placed 4mm Micro-Lock panels placed on thumb, top of hand and outer wrist. MICRO-LOCK Armour are the softest, most comfortable protectors Knox has ever made and totally contour to the body. This softness, linked with Micro-Lock s smart protective qualities, means Knox can engineer many shapes and thicknesses so each rider is able to find the perfect protector for every garment. Knox MICRO-LOCK uses SMART technology and properties which keep the armour super soft to touch, but it locks when impacted, keeping you protected. This locking action increases the amount of impact absorbed by the protector, reducing the energy passed through to your precious limbs. Knox MICRO-LOCK solves the temperature stability issue by using a unique mix of materials which keep the protector softer in the cold. MICRO-LOCK's impact performance is also stable across all temperatures and environments.
