L'Illustration Magazine - 10 Bound Volumes 1914-1918 plus 1 Volume Supplement a L'Illustration du 30.1.1915, Le Tableau D'Honneur de la Guerre Text in French Bound folio-size French periodicals with marbled boards and endpapers, covering years 1914 to 1918, complete set in two volumes per year. Illustrated in colour and black & white photographs, maps and drawings. L'Illustration was a weekly French newspaper published in Paris from 1843 to 1944. It was founded by Edouard Charton with the first issue published on 4 March 1843, it became the first illustrated newspaper in France then, after 1906, the first international illustrated magazine; distributed in 150 countries. All volumes are in good condition with clean pages inside. Discolouration and slight foxing. Boards are showing signs of wear.
