Sand-coloured Carronade floor lamp by Markus Johansson Graceful and flexible are apt descriptors for the Carronade designer floor lamp, which was designed by the Danish designer Markus Johansson, who took his inspiration from old cannons of the kind that were used on ships in the 18th century. Just like a cannon, the lampshade can be pivoted to the desired position in the bracket, which is made of soap-washed oak wood. The combination of materials and colours makes the Carronade floor lamp into a fixture that will bring Nordic charm into any room. The prestigious company Le Klint manufactures the Carronade floor lamp in Denmark. The manufacturer, which has a history that stretches back 75 years, produces lights by many well-known designers and still manufactures designs from the company's early days. Le Klint made a name for itself with its own designs of lights with hand-pleated lampshades, which are still part of the product range today and are still very popular, such as the "Fruit Lanterns".
