First Edition Limited Numbered Edition Number 18 of 110 copies designed, illustrated and printed in the School of Graphic Arts at the Royal College of Arts, London. 7 separately published vignettes of travel writing from across the world and the years, including Basho's haikus, a piece from Lady Londonderry's Russian journal (1835 - 1837) and Wind, Sand and Stars by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Others include Trav-El Songs, Extracts from Mandeville's Travels and Expeditions by John Blashford-Snell, a piece by Native American writers and extracts from Raymond Chandler's favourite Marlowe's LA novels. All come in a dedicated slipcase designed by Virginia Wilkinson. Illustrations are by Cathie Felstead. The vignettes themselves are in very good condition although there is some wear to the slipcase.
