The COSC certified movement also extends the brand's 2 year warranty to a 5 year one, offering a 72 hour power reserve once fully wound, along with a performance of 28,800 vibrations per hour. This second generation of the Longines Spirit watch collection comes clad in a matte green dial with a red tipped second hand. To accompany this feature, the hour track, represented in Arabic numerals, is coated in Super LumiNova as are the central sword shaped hands. The Longines Spirit watch collection pays homage to legendary pioneers of the aviation world with this heritage watch, which unites traditional watchmaking methods with cutting edge technology. The men's 42mm Longines Spirit watch features a date aperture dressed against a white background at 3 o'clock and a sapphire crystal glass front with anti glare properties. The back of the case is engraved with the iconic winged hourglass logo and comes equipped with a rugged stainless steel bracelet. The links are executed in a mix of brushed and polished surfaces, securing with a triple folding security clasp and a push button release mechanism. Enabling the wearer a chance to change the strap, the Longines Spirit watch also comes with an integrated interchangeable strap system.
