Luxurious olive wooden burl large backgammon set - Deluxe look and feel but at an affordable price. Created by the Manopoulos master craftsmen. Beautiful Olive wood burl cabinet. Real wood inlays and playing surface. Complete with wooden stone, deluxe leatherette cups and dice. Once again the craftsmen at Manopoulos, based in Athens, have surpassed themselves with this beautiful olive wood burl inset backgammon cabinet. The burl, with its colours ranging from milk white through to dark honey, is almost mother of pearl like in its effect. Two robust brass clasps are the only adornment to the front of the cabinet to keep it closed when not in use, and adding to the clean lines and opulence of this set. Inside, mahogany and wenge points have been expertly inlaid into the same olive wood burl, creating a stunning playing surface. All the colours complement each other beautifully and even the colour coordinated stones have a matching velour drawstring bag for storage. There are convenient recesses each end to hold the stones that are not in play. This 'must-have' set also comes complete with dice, doubling cube and handcrafted wooden dice cups.A very welcome addition to our comprehensive range of backgammon sets and is everything you need in a set for your home or as a fantastic gift.
